Great tour, weather not so much
Our tour started at the Masaya volcano, tour guide Gino was very knowledgeable and did a great job showing us the many points of interest. Next stop was the handicrafts Market at Masaya. Then we went to a pottery workshop where we saw traditional Nicaraguan pottery being made, and we purchased a few pieces (no pressure to buy). That's when the sky opened. Buena Tours cannot control the weather. We did stop at the next 2 scheduled places, the Catharine outlook, which would have been a spectacular view had we not been entirely enclosed in a cloud. Last stop was the Paradiso Hotel at Laguna Apoyo. The rain has stopped but it was still too damp and overcast to be enjoyable, but it would have been great in better weather.Jul 01, 2017
