If you want to get to know what Nicaragua truly is, this trip is made for you! Get off the beaten path on Mombacho’s southern side and discover the secrets of making your own chocolate in a sustainable farm. Then, go to swim and have BBQ in a lost hot spring surrounded by an oasis of banana trees.

Volcano biking and Pueblos Blancos (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
US$35 p.p.
Included: transport, guide, bike, helmet, entrance fees to the ceramic’s workshop and the beach at Paradiso Hostel.
Bike around Laguna of Apoyo. Enjoy viewpoints from the edge of the volcano crater. Visit the famous Pueblos Blancos: discover the “Garden of Eden” of Catarina and visit a ceramic workshop in San Juan de Oriente. Go down to the shore of Laguna de Apoyo and finish at Paradiso Hostel to enjoy its beach, activities, bar and restaurant.

Crater Lake Trek (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
1 Day US$35 p.p.
Included: transport, guide, picnic and entrance fees to the beach at Paradiso Hostel
Laguna de Apoyo is the warmest and cleanest volcano crater lake in Central America. Hike along the lake’s shore and discover the jungle with an experienced guide. At the end you will swim and relax on the beach at Paradiso Hostel before coming back to Granada.
2 Days US$45 p.p.
Included: transport, guide, lunch picnic, BBQ dinner, breakfast and entrances fees to the beach at Paradiso Hostel
You begin as the 1 day hike, then we spend one night camping, with a barbecue in front of Laguna de Apoyo. In the morning, you go straight to Paradiso Hostel to swim and relax the whole day.
