León - Cerro Negro Hike
Description
The Cerro Negro is one of the youngest active volcanoes in the Western Hemisphere, originating in April 1850. The name means Black Hill -which is aptly chosen. The volcano is in great contrast to the surrounding green hillsides.
Despite this volcano is only about 712 meters above sea level, the ascent can be hard due to its completely natural and rocky road. The climbing can take one hour to the top (a hike of about 4 km) and although it requires some effort, the superb 360 degree panorama views are certainly rewarding.
The descent is really fast, it may take less than 10 minutes before reaching the bottom. This side only has volcanic sand, providing a great surface for running downhill.

All online booked tours will be scheduled and organized after our confirmation. However, to guarantee the services you will be ask to pay online a first 10%, then a full payment of the remaining amount is required at least 48 hours before the tour day in any of our offices in Nicaragua.

Cancellation Policies
Cancellation without Penalty:
Cancellations made at with more than 1 month before the day of arrival will not incur any penalties.
Cancellation Penalties:
Cancellations made with less than 1 month before arrival day, the following percentages will be charged, besides the initial payment if the reservation is cancelled:
30 days - 8 days: 25 %
7 days - 48 hours: 50 %
Less than 48 hours or in case of no-use of the reserved service: 100%
