Horseback Riding to Masaya Volcano from La Sabanita community

The meeting point is the court of La Sabanita Community, a small and friendly rural town. In here, the tourist will have a brief explanation about the community lifestyle and projects developed as a cooperative to maintain the environment preservation and community development. Then the journey to the Masaya Volcano through a trail little known by tourist will begin.
Once we are at the Masaya Volcano, its actual state and history will be explained. Some antique pits will be visited and the ascent to the volcano begins. During the tour, an interpretation about the flora and fauna of the area is made until the San Juan viewpoint is reached. In here, the lifestyle and history about the Pueblos Blancos of Masaya are explained.
The descent begins toward the Oviedo Plaza to have a healthy snack with fruits from the community.
Note of Interest
Before the return, the tourist can visit the volcanic caves where bats inhabit. Only for US$2 extra dollars you can have the opportunity to experience the life in a dark cave. This extra service is arranged with the guides.

Cancellation Without Penalty:
Cancellations made at leats 48 hours prior to tour day will not incur in any penalties.
Cancellation Penalties:
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours prior to tour day will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount. In case of no-use of the reserved service, 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged. These amounts will be additionals to the 10% reservation (no refundable) already payed to assure the booking.
