Fishing tour in the Islets and Zapatera island from Granada

Description

During this lake experience we will visit some fishing points between the islets and the Zapatera archipelago zones. We will also make a stop and visit El Muerto island and their archaeological vestiges, and we will lunch in a restaurant on one of the islets.

In the morning, we will pick you up in your hotel or a (previously arranged) meeting point in Granada city. We will go to the lake shore, to the small piers in the Touristic Center. There we will take the boat and start our tour traveling on the Asese peninsula among the islets, watching the aquatic birds, the forested little islands and the vacation or family houses on the most of them. Then, we will travel in open lake waters to the Zapatera archipelago.

In Zapatera, we will make a stop in the small El Muerto island, where we will appreciate several pre-columbian petroglyph in rocks of several sizes. Back in the boat, our guide will lead us to some fishing points where is possible to capture species like bream, guapote, sardine and others (5-7 pounds). A wide panorama of lake water, the sound of wind and some aquatic birds, and the islands, mainland and Mombacho volcano silhouette on the horizon.

With our fish on board, we will return to the islets, and make a stop in one of them, where to have lunch in a restaurant (it could be Correviento or Ron Island restaurants), right in front of the lake water. A varied menu will be available, as well as a drink (a juice, a soda or a beer). Finally, after lunch and an island rest, we will go back to mainland, and then to your hotel or the drop off point in Granada.
