Solentiname day tour from San Carlos
Description
Day tour to Solentiname's archipelago highlights on its three main island: San Fernando island and its museum, Mancarron island and the handcraft small town, and La Venada island and their primitivism painters workshop. Lunch in the archipelago and private boat transportation included from and to San Carlos.
The tour start in the morning (8 AM recommended). The guide will meet you at the San Carlos city center, whether in the malecon, your hotel or any meeting point (previously arranged). You will walk to the malecon pier and take the boat, traveling the lake until the archipelago.
The Solentiname visit begin in San Fernando island, where you will walk by the pathway watching the natural surrounding and the small town activity, and you will visit the MUSA museum and its permanent exhibition about the local culture and history. Back in the boat, you will go to Mancarron island and visit the community entrance. Here you will have lunch (the fresh fish is recommended, but you will have other option available on menu). The Mancarron visit will end after a moment on the wood handcraft workshops site, right in the local small village.
After that, the boat will take you to La venada island, where you will visit the local primitivism painters workshops; there are several painters families here with up to three generation of productive artists. Finally, a last boat travel will take you back to San Carlos pier, where the tour will end.

Cancellations made at least 2 days before the day of the tour will not incur any penalties.
Cancellation Penalties:
Cancellations made less than 2 days before the tour day will be charged 40% of the tour amount. In case of no-use of the reserved service, a 40% of the tour amount will be charged. These amounts will be additionally to the non-refundable deposit of 10% previously paid.
