Hiking at Maderas Volcano
Description
Ometepe is the largest island in the world inside a fresh water lake, being a protected Natural Reserve. Part of its magic resides in the beautiful landscape of its two volcanoes: Concepcion and Maderas.
Climb the Maderas Volcano is an exciting adventure. The output has to be early in the morning to get back before dark. It is a difficult hike that takes approximately 8 hours. To get to the top it will take about three and a half hours in the middle of the rainforest, ending with the cloud forest near the lagoon.
Then the tour will be more difficult. The humidity will make the road in a muddy, slippery passage; there are sites that actually have to climb instead of walking so be sure of wear good shoes for climbing. It is mandatory to go with a guide.
This is a real challenge for adventure seekers and nature.

Cancellations made with less than 1 month before arrival day, the following percentages will be charged, besides the initial payment if the reservation is cancelled:
30 days - 8 days: 25 %
7 days - 48 hours: 50 %
Less than 48 hours: 75%
In case of no-use of the reserved service: 100%
