Description

Ecolodge Hato Nuevo is located in a Private Nature Reserve of 236.6 hectares. The area is unique for its cool climate and notable architectonic work and decoration. Besides lodging, Hato Nuevo offers bar and restaurant service surrounded by gardens, trees and animals that inhabit in the reserve, which can be observed from the balconies.

The ecolodge has single, double and multiple rooms designed with a rustic and comfortable style. Wooden furnitures are created by a local carpenter. Room prices include breakfast and lunches or dinners can be ordered. The restaurant offers local food, however those clients who reserve in advance will be asked for their food preferences.

During the day, different tours are offered: horseback riding, birdwatching and hiking in the reserve, as well as visits to the Fonseca Gulf, Cosigüina Volcano, Jiquilillo and Mechapa Beaches, and both estuaries, Padre Ramos and Estero Real.
