    Description

    There is a hidden lagoon in the middle of a rural area of plantations and forests, where you will be accompanied by local farmers of the area who will be pleased to show you this natural secret. The tour begins in the communal house of Aguas Agrias, where some guidelines will be explained before you start walking through the community until arriving to the forest.

    On the way you will observe crops and trees like palms.The path continue and it goes through the Rio Negro bridge until you reach Laguna Verde (80 acres approximately) and has clean greenish water.

    In the lagoon you can swim in midst of the woods and then continue along the same path to return. It is possible to make a variation in the tour going through the "gush" where you can also swim. In the end of the tour you return to the communal house where you can buy lunch if you notify in advance.

  • The Manares river gush route

    The meeting point is at the communal house located in the entrance to Aguas Agrias-La Nanda community and here is where the tour starts.First you will visit some houses and to get to know some pets. After about 25 minutes you will find the forest where you can see animals such as howler monkeys, magpies, orioles and crops such as bananas, beans, maize and taro. You will also see a mine stone (flagstone).

    Upon arriving at the river Manares you walk until the point where the river is born. There is a natual pool where you can swim before starting the way back.
