    There's hardly anyone on this beach. It's got beautiful white sand, and huge ocean rollers. It's pretty hard to get to though without a high-clearance vehicle. Highly recommend.

Description

Majagual Beach is located next to Maderas, on a private and wide bay with impressive views. The place is known for its rock formation and relaxation spots.

Swimming, fishing and surfing
Swimming, fishing and surfing, are activities that can be made on this beach.
There are equipped areas so visitors can arm their camping tents and stay without any problem.

Nowadays, there is only one hotel to stay at. Tourists will not find shops to buy food or water, but it is possible to walk to Maderas to find these supplies.

Practical information:
Have in mind that the road to get here is unpaved. So, getting there during the winter might be complicated. We recommend to travel on a high clearance vehicle.

Getting There

To get to Majagual you must go to San Juan del Sur and, before reaching the entrance, take the road to "La Pepesca", which is located on the right. Then, follow the signs.

If you are going on public transportation, the best thing to do is taking a cab for a convenient rate. There are no buses to this beach.
